Animation Process

For the animation process, I set up the target camera to be on the Death Star as it the main object to be seen. I used key frames to move the spaceships and animated them going around the Death Star and going different directions.

Background scene

I began to make a dome for the scene, which was going to be a in the Earth Sky with clouds and the sun. But I decided to change that idea as it was quite difficult for me to try and make the material for the clouds and sun to be in the dome. I decided to just have a black blank space to resemble space as I thought this would be a better scene.

Making ship 3:- Naboo Starfighter

I used the Lathe tool to make the wings and body of the Naboo Starfighter
Using a tutorial I found on the web on how to glossen objects I used the Material Editor to give the ship a shiny metal finish

Making ship 2: - Death Star

To make the Death Star I used the Boolean tool two spheres together to make a hollow ball. Made the first sphere and put the second inside the first one. I used a cylinder to subtract middle using Boolean
I used UVW unwrapping texture technique to identify the points that I needed to put the material over
I then used the Material Editor and Photoshop to make the material that would go on the Death Star and applied it.

Making ship 1:- Tie Fighter

I started out by using the sphere and tube to make the Tie Fighter but I found it hard to the tubes on either side line up and to make the sphere resemble the ships outline.
So instead I used the Lathe modifier tool by clicking on the the blueprint of the Tie Fighter to make out the middle of the ship
I made the wings of the Tie Fighter using the box tool
Using the Material Editor and photoshop, I made the material for the Tie Fighter to look like metal
